Film Story
The not-for-profit organization, The Career Foundation, needed to develop video resources for their Arborist Ground Worker Program. The resources would help their students master the essential skill of knot tying. Because of the number of knots, their complexity, and each having a specific application, we decided to produce each technique as a separate tutorial video. This would also give students an easy way to review the knots that may require more repetition to master. We shot from two angles during production to provide coverage that would assist different learners: a front view and an overhead view. The front view would provide an instructor-led style that students are accustomed to, whereas the overhead view would provide more of a first person angle, so that the student could follow along, mirroring each movement.
