After having competitors run, paddle and bike over 400 kilometers of rugged B.C. interior terrain, Nathalie Long and the Expedition Canada team work against the clock and elements to build the second, longer edition of Expedition Canada.
This behind the scenes look into large scale expedition event planning shows what it takes to design and hold a world class event that attracts top talent from around the globe. But before the race team can count it as a win they have to develop a route and test all 500+ kilometres of it, while attempting to survive rockfalls, questionable route choices, raging high water levels, evacuation orders, and other challenges, all before racers hit the start line in 6 months.
