Take a Simple Concept and Make it Huge

Some of the most effective video ads don’t overcomplicate. Have a look at this ad for Andes Beer developed by Saatchi & Saatchi. They take a simple concept, like the perfect angle to pour a beer, and blow it out with the worlds first leaning bar (intentional) in the Andes. Of course it’s complete with the typical inspiring background music, beer announcer, and slow motion antics, but its the “take the concept and run with it” idea that makes it work. They actually made the bar; a small little hut on the side of a ski slope in Mendoza. And of course, staying true to their pitch, they’ll pour you a perfect pint.
